The latest issue of Luxure contains several stories shot by Jonathan. They include portraits of a florist and a wine dealer, as well as a series of men’s luxury items which include a solid silver Asprey safe in the shape of a gorilla, and a bottle of whisky worth over $200 000.
The latest Luxure magazine’s out, with the theme ‘Dangerous Beauty’, containing lots of Jonathan’s Still Life and Beauty images.
For a selection of perfume shots, Jonathan focused on the perfumes’ aromas, with delicate sprays.
To create danger and drama to the product shots, Jonathan mixed them with smashing and exploding glass.
For a unique take on the beauty shoot, beauty and water were combined to give an element of danger. Who would have thought drowning could look so chic?
Make-up by Karen Mason
Model is Vick S at Storm
We have just received the latest Luxure magazine containing lots of Jonathan’s editorial images.
The Compass camera executions put a modern twist on a beautiful old 1930s camera; Jonathan combining his camera shot with a shot of the original vintage camera manual.
The Tom Ford lipstick execution is fun and feminine bringing out the great detail in the packaging, and shows the range of shades without the standard line-up.
We also had a very exotic Wedgwood tea set to shoot, which just shouted out to be placed in a theatrical set. We went for a Mad Hatter theme. The tea set arrived in a large lockable trunk lined with foam and fabric, which you’d need a big attic to store…but if you have £25000 to buy it, you are likely to have a bit of storage space too!

The summer edition of Luxure magazine is out and features lots of great images from Jonathan; our favourite being Jonathan’s London Beauty story with Eva Bohatova from Storm, make-up from Karen Mason at Debbie Walters Management, and hair by Robert Frampton. Beautiful jewels, with a hint of London scenery give a true touch of luxury.
Beautiful light cast over a model wearing exquisite Chanel couture clothing and jewellery was the image on the new Luxure wrap-around cover, shot by Jonathan. Security guards galore arrived from around Europe to transport and guard the precious items for this shot, and for the luxury goods featured in the eight page opening article; all mixed with Jonathan’s trade mark liquid photography.
Make-up was by Karen Mason, hair by Mellissa Brown, both at Mandy Coakley represents. The model was Tatiana S at Models 1.
14 pages was the space allocated to Jonathan’s first feature for Luxure; a magazine you will come across regularly if you charter jets and yachts.
Rejuvenating skin care products was the theme, something close to the heart of most private jet travellers. Each product was shot with its key ingredient, and treated in a monochromatic way. They vary from La Prairie, containing real caviar to Dior containing Château d’Yquem. The stylist was Alexia Somerville.
Take a look at Jonathan’s latest editorial shoot, in the June addition of GQ magazine. The brief was to produce an image to capture the lightness and fleeting nature of the new Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Pour Homme.
