Diageo Summer

Here are some thirst quenching new drinks images for Diageo and Schweppes summer campaign. We shot Pimm’s, Smirnoff Vodka and Gordon’s Gin spirits with Tonic, Lemonade & Cola mixers. The flags give it a great British summer feel. All we need to do now is sit back and wait for the sun to start shining! With over 2000 poster sites, it should be up somewhere near you.

Start the weekend with Gordon’s

Tick-tock, it’s Gordon’s Gin time. More refreshing drinks photography from Jonathan, which also includes some elegant still life elements. The ideas were created by Ed Tilbrook and Richard Ince for Arc Worldwide.

Diageo

Jonathan has produced more of his hallmark liquid work for the launch of two new ready mixed canned drinks from Diageo, Gordon’s and Tonic and Smirnoff and Cranberry.

Rob Fletcher, creative director of Isobel, created the Instant Evening drinks campaign, aimed at people who may enjoy a spirit drink with a mixer, but would not consider themselves to be high enough consumers to justify the purchase of a whole bottle. The images feature the cans dropping into liquid symbolising either Tonic or Cranberry Juice along with the ingredients required for the perfect drink.

Prazska Vodka

Here at Jonathan Knowles studio, we always like a new challenge. We were very pleased to get the drinks brief through from McCann-Erickson Prague for the newly designed bottle for Prazska vodka.

The headline translates as ‘Gentle sharpness to the edge’, which the photography reflects using sleek natural flowing liquid mixed with sharp, defined splashes.

The creative team was Michal Kotulek and Jan Ridl.

Grant’s Whisky

Jonathan has just finished shooting the new worldwide campaign for Grant’swhisky with Matt Turner & Luke White at My Agency. The ads are all about the heritage and complex flavours which are fundamental to the Grant’s brand.

Plymouth Gin

Jonathan has been working closely with Team Saatchi for the relaunch of Plymouth Gin. This campaign is based around the smoothness of the gin avoiding sharp objects. Jonathan had the exciting task of photographing (amongst other things) a porcupine & crocodile in his studio.
