More Beans. More Taste.

Jonathan and his assistants are still finding coffee beans all over the studio, following a week of exploding almost a tonne of them out of various specialist pieces of equipment constructed by the ingenious folk at Asylum.


Creative Directors Ian Ducker and Will Farquhar at McCann Erickson London drew their inspiration for the new campaign for Nescafé Original from the Dancing Fountains at Bellagio. There are several executions, combining classic still life photography with well controlled explosions, producing great press and posters, which are all a triumphant celebration of beans.

 

Luxure Magazine

Beautiful light cast over a model wearing exquisite Chanel couture clothing and jewellery was the image on the new Luxure wrap-around cover, shot by Jonathan. Security guards galore arrived from around Europe to transport and guard the precious items for this shot, and for the luxury goods featured in the eight page opening article; all mixed with Jonathan’s trade mark liquid photography.

Make-up was by Karen Mason, hair by Mellissa Brown, both at Mandy Coakley represents. The model was Tatiana S at Models 1

 

Abbey Well

Here is Jonathan’s latest shot for Abbey Well. Abbey Well was recently bought by CocaCola-Schweppes and Jonathan was commissioned to sculpt water into the shape of Britain for the mineral water from Northumberland, as part of a repackaging project to incorporate the Schweppes identity. This image is running on the bottles’ labels, as well as being a key feature of their website.

Evian

Jonathan has started the year with a splash. Here is the new Evian Detox campaign shot by Jonathan Knowles, with Glenn Gibbins at Euro RSCG London. There are three different executions, all in Jonathan’s recognisable graphic style, all of which have run prominently in the press, and on many of the most prestigious poster sites.


The simplicity of the images is designed to convey the purity and Alpine heritage of France’s most famous mineral water, and to emphasise its healthy benefits.
